NYFW comes to an end ..

BIBHU MOHAPATRA

With romantic colors and patterns, black and white is still incorporated with architectural and graphic designs.

MICHAEL KORS

All Michael had me thinking was HOLIDAY. Where do I want to go for Holiday? I Loved everything about it. It was pure ladylike.

NANETTE LEPORE

The Blush colors in this collection need to be on Kerry Washington, NOW.

J. MENDEL

For his Spring Collection Mendel turned to a 1971 song for inspiration. (Check out the music video here) Rather than translating the theme through the grungy side of this song he created a collection from beginning to end. From love to loss with my understandings of the song. Starting the collection with classic pale yellows and corals and moved to the dirtier part of the song with deeper colors and patterns. Mendel usually sticks with feminine pieces and colors, so this collection played the song out well. He played out the strong pieces with beautiful elegant evening wear and gowns.

RACHEL ZOE

Along with Zac Posen and Michael Kors, Rachel Zoe has been on the top of my list. It felt safari but more delicate. I loved the pastels and white. It was perfect. The gold accents on the feet and studs on her white pieces. It was amazing. I was expecting a lot of maxis and wide legged pants but it was surprising in a good way. Bravo Rachel Zoe, you are a true inspiration.

With Fashion Week coming to an end. It has been amazing. The anticipation of waiting for these photos and videos on my favorite designers is always so hard.
